Teaching & Coaching

“Music… can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable.” — Leonard Bernstein

I have many years of experience teaching students of all ages. During my career as a violinist, I have had teachers from many different schools of violin teaching, from whom I learned different ways of approaching the art of violin playing as well as violin teaching. I have gained tools to be a flexible teacher, to be able to find different ways of teaching violin technique and music to my students. I believe that every person is different, learns differently and wants different experiences as a violinist. I love discovering this about my students and finding ways to help them reach their individual goals.

This spring semester I will receive my Masters in Pedagogy from Zürich University of Arts where I was able to further improve my skills as teacher, through learning human psychology of all ages and having individual and group lectures of highly regarded Pedagogues. I teach in German, English, Russian and Armenian. I believe in a positive learning environment and my goal as a teacher is to find the balance between challenge and fun for my students.
